When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) may include the type of web browser used, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, and similar information.
This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. It is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content of websites requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet.
Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimize our website and the technology behind it.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Subscribers may also be informed by email about circumstances relevant to the service or registration (for example changes to the newsletter offering or technical conditions).
A valid email address is required for effective registration. In order to verify that the registration is actually made by the owner of an email address, we use the double opt-in procedure. For this purpose, we log the newsletter subscription request, the sending of a confirmation email, and the receipt of the requested confirmation.
No additional data is collected. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.
You may revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and its use for the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter contains a corresponding unsubscribe link. Deletion or Blocking of Data
We adhere to the principles of data minimization and data economy. Therefore, we store your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated here or as required by the various statutory retention periods provided by law.
After the respective purpose ceases to apply or these retention periods expire, the corresponding data will be routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files stored on your computer that allow an analysis of how you use the website.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or other states that are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity and provide other services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.
You may prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting the settings of your browser software; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of this website.
You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link:
Link: Browser Add-On to disable Google Analytics
As an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages by clicking this link. An opt-out cookie will be installed on your device. This will prevent future collection by Google Analytics for this website and this browser as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.
Cookies
Like many other websites, we use so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files transferred from a website server to your hard drive.
This automatically provides us with certain data such as your IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the Internet.
Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transmit viruses to a computer. The information contained in cookies helps us make navigation easier for you and enables the correct display of our web pages.
Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.
Of course, you can generally view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are usually set to accept cookies. You can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your internet browser to learn how to change these settings.
Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you disable cookies.
We also use cookies from our cooperation partners (including Outbrain). If you do not wish this, you can object to the use of these cookies here:

Use of the Scalable Central Measurement Method (SZM)
Our website uses the “Scalable Central Measurement Method” (SZM) of INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de) to determine statistical parameters regarding the use of our services.
Anonymous measurement values are collected. To recognize computer systems, SZM reach measurement uses either a cookie with the identifier “ioam.de” or “ivwbox.de”, a LocalStorage object, or a signature created from various automatically transmitted browser information.
IP addresses are processed only in anonymized form.
The reach measurement was developed with data protection in mind. The aim of reach measurement is to statistically determine the intensity of use and the number of users of a website.
At no time are individual users identified. Your identity always remains protected. You will not receive advertising through this system.
For web services that are members of the Information Community for Determining the Distribution of Advertising Media (IVW) or that participate in the AGOF “internet facts” study, the usage statistics are published monthly by AGOF, ag.ma and IVW and can be viewed at:
Further information on the SZM procedure can be found on the INFOnline website and on the data protection pages of AGOF and IVW.
You can object to data processing via SZM using the following links:

http://optout.ivwbox.de
Use of the SZM Procedure in Applications
Our application uses the Scalable Central Measurement Method (SZM) of INFOnline GmbH to determine statistical parameters regarding the use of our services.
Anonymous measurement values are collected. The reach measurement uses unique device identifiers for recognition, which are transmitted exclusively in anonymized form. IP addresses are also processed only in anonymized form.
Further information about the SZM procedure can be found on the INFOnline website and the data protection websites of AGOF and IVW.
